The band is the best band ever existed, to me. I'm glad I had a chance to see them live in concert in 1989. It was amazing.

Skyline Chili: The King of Junk Foods

I'm in Cleveland. Just had a 4-way Chili at Skyline chili. I couldn't do it in the last year-end road trip. A mission overdue has been finally accomplished.

Mission on-going

I'm heading back for Michigan. How? I picked up a red WRX! That's the whole purpose of this trip. It is definitely a good find. She runs amazingly. But it feels weird. It's so similar, almost the same to my 98 Impreza, yet completely different. Cliche, but it's on steroids. Step on it, once reaches 3k, it's a rocket. 98 NA Impreza now feels like a toy. I finally got a real car?

I'm in NYC

My flight didn't fall and I'm safely arrived at LGA. Now heading for the final destination...

It's a onwway trip to NYC and I'm not driving to DTW. I'm on the Michigan Flyer shuttle for the first time. So far so good. I didn't miss it. It left A2 on time.

Off to NYC

I'm going to NYC today only with a oneway ticket in my hands... I hope I can come back... But I'm too excited and wide awake since 3am. This has never happened for a long time...

The Git support integration and Spring support enhancement are good news. I'm going to try them.

iPad 2, worth it?

Is upgrading from iPad to iPad 2 worth the price? I didn't think so and this article doesn't convince me either. Dual core + double the memory boost the performance, yes. But is it good enough to justify paying another $500+, when the original device is smooth enough to handle the load from the same version of their OS? Multi-tasking? Switching apps? Just be patient a bit and iPad does it well too. Besides, I don't play games. Unless it gets better screen resolution or the OS would get too heavy for the original iPad, I wouldn't upgrade to a newer device.

1989 Ferrari 348 TS

At $30k, I might seriously consider buying a used Ferrari. It's cheaper than a new STi! The maintenance cost may not be cheap, but hey, it's a Ferrari.

I agree with this view of a Google exec. Any market needs good competitors. iOS and Android platforms are helping each other to grow the smart phone market.

Tragedy

If it had happened to me when I was a teenager, I would have done the same. My thoughts are with the young couple and their family. They will live in their friends' heart forever.

App update is slow today in my iPhone. GPS Drive is taking forever to install.
